E-Commerce Manager

We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Manager to join our team on a 12-month temporary contract. This role is critical in shaping the future of Hiab’s eCommerce strategy and delivering impactful results in growing our parts sales through innovative digital solutions.

This  role is based in Gdansk, Poland, and will report to the Senior Ecommerce Manager, Hiab Services. Requires occasional travel.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strong eCommerce roadmap to drive parts sales growth and align with Hiab’s strategic objectives.

• Act as a leader for the eCommerce team, providing leadership, direction, and support to achieve team and business goals.

• Lead eCommerce projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.

• Optimize processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance across all eCommerce operations.

• Innovate and develop new functionalities to meet evolving customer needs and enhance the platform’s capabilities.

• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring effective collaboration, quality service delivery, and alignment with business needs.

• Ensure continuity of daily eCommerce operations, addressing issues promptly to maintain platform performance and customer satisfaction.

• Foster collaboration across teams and stakeholders to align eCommerce initiatives with broader company goals.

• Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing innovative ideas to Hiab’s eCommerce strategy and platform development

What you’ll need to succeed

Education:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is preferred

Experience:

• Proven experience in eCommerce strategy, project management, and team leadership.

• 5 years of experience in a similar industry or e-commerce field

Competencies:

• Fluency in English is essential

• Ability to think strategically while executing with precision and attention to detail.

• Passion for innovation and a customer-focused mindset.

• Capacity to analyze and optimize eCommerce processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance.

• Skill in identifying and implementing new functionalities and technologies to meet company needs and enhance platform capabilities.

• Up-to-date understanding of eCommerce market trends and ability to integrate them into company strategy.

• Ability to build and maintain effective vendor relationships, ensuring quality service delivery and alignment with business needs.
