E-Commerce Product Owner

We are seeking an eCommerce Product Owner to join our team on a 12-month temporary basis to support the development and enhancement of the Hiab Webshop. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in a short period by driving results and delivering measurable outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

This role is based in Gdansk, Poland, and will report to the Senior Ecommerce Manager, Hiab Services. Requires occasional travel.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Act as a Product Owner for the Hiab Webshop, taking ownership of its functionality and continuous improvement during the contract period.
Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with agreed KPIs, business goals, and customer impact.
Facilitate active communication of backlog priorities, progress, and status updates to stakeholders.
Create and define user stories with clear acceptance criteria to guide development work.
Lead and coordinate development efforts, ensuring the delivery of agreed scope and objectives within the contract timeline.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences.
Monitor and understand the capabilities of the development team while maintaining the health of the continuous delivery pipeline.
Respond to internal user feedback by reprioritizing backlog items and communicating effectively with internal users.
Act as a knowledgeable advocate for the Hiab Webshop during your tenure, providing expertise and insights.
Translate complex business concepts into actionable user stories to guide development efforts.
Partner with business owners to develop and refine concepts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

What you’ll need to succeed

Education:

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields is preferred

Experience:

Managing complexity and prioritising your own work
5 years of experience in a similar industry or e-commerce field

Competencies:

Fluency in English is essential
Self motivated and a team player
Ability to formulate and implement a long-term product vision that supports business objectives.
Ability to build strong relationships with the development team, business stakeholders, and customers.
Deep understanding of customer needs and expectations.
Ability to adapt to changes, and learn new things.
