Hiab is the pioneer in smart and sustainable on road load handling solutions. We believe in more than just work — we believe in making a difference for our customers to building a better tomorrow.

Say Hi! to your next challenge — explore the opportunity and apply below!

Your mission

Own the governance and architecture of the data that keeps our customers moving. As our Master Data Expert, you will lead the design of global data structures for Accessories and Spare Parts. By harmonizing production BOMs with service data, you will achieve the "holy grail" of aftermarket operations: 100% visibility of our global installed base. You will be the guardian of data integrity, ensuring our ERP and service systems work in perfect sync to drive innovation and performance.

Key responsibilities

Strategic Governance & Architecture

  • Take full ownership of the master data governance framework, creating and managing policies that ensure data consistency, high quality, and zero duplication across the organization.
  • Lead the documentation of global master data processes, including the creation of detailed process maps, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
  • Define the Information Management (IM) vision for parts and accessories, co-developing roadmaps and prioritizing initiatives that align with the global business strategy.

Lifecycle & Installed Base Management

  • Develop and maintain advanced data models for both individual items and the "Installed Base," ensuring data integrity from sales through to service.
  • Lead the design of data structures that combine Sales/Production BOMs with Service-generated data to achieve 100% visibility of our global installed base.
  • Secure and optimize master data processes across the business IM architecture, ensuring seamless data flow between SAP, PDM, and Service tools.

Risk Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Proactively identify and assess risks within data streams and implement robust controls to safeguard data integrity.
  • Champion new technologies and "Master Data Stories," coordinating developments that follow the global service offerings roadmap.
  • Maintain global item data in SAP while ensuring all process documentation is accessible and up-to-date for global stakeholders.
  • Own the end-to-end success of data solutions—from initial design and implementation to long-term maintenance and performance improvement.

What we are looking for

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Professional experience within the service business or heavy machinery industry, with a deep understanding of item data quality and its commercial impact.
  • Proven track record in systems and process development, specifically in managing complex data flows.

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced proficiency in SAP (or ERP/LN) and PDM/Windchill; experience with Salesforce or Pulse is a plus.
  • Highly skilled in SQL/queries, Excel, Access, and dashboard creation to drive data-led decision-making.
  • A holistic view of IM architecture and the ability to translate "local" business needs into a global solution framework.
  • Lean or Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) training is highly preferred.

Personal Attributes

  • A proactive, "getting things done" attitude with a high sense of urgency and a passion for performance improvement.
  • Ability to unite diverse stakeholders and work both independently and as a team player.
  • Fluency in English is essential as you will be working in a global environment.
