Architect, OneStream

Your mission

As the OneStream Architect, you are the technical visionary and strategic owner of our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) ecosystem. Reporting to the Director, IM Solutions Finance & HR, you will join at a critical juncture as we are implementing OneStream for the initial Financial Planning and Reporting scope.

Your primary mission is to act as the design authority, ensuring that the platform’s architecture remains robust and scalable as we plan to expand the scope. You will bridge the gap between complex Finance requirements and IM strategy, ensuring that OneStream serves as a high-performing "single source of truth" for the global enterprise.

Preferred location is Finland (Helsinki, Tampere or Raisio). 

Key responsibilities

• Architectural Governance: Define and maintain the core platform architecture (Cubes, Extensible Dimensionality, and Metadata). You are responsible for the integrity of the system, ensuring all new developments align with long-term scalability

• Strategic Roadmap & Backlog: Partner with Finance Stakeholders to translate business needs into a technical roadmap. You will prioritize the platform backlog, balancing new functional requests with technical optimization

• Development Oversight: Lead the design and review of complex logic, including Finance Business Rules (VB.Net) and integration workflows. You will set the "Gold Standard" for development to ensure the platform remains maintainable

• Data & Integration Strategy: Oversee the end-to-end data lineage from source ERP systems to OneStream. You will define the standards for data mapping, transformation logic, and drill-back capabilities

• Compliance & Security Ownership: Own the global security model and ensure the platform consistently meets internal controls and audit standards

• Vendor & Partner Management: Act as the primary contact for external partners, ensuring their deliverables meet internal architectural standards and that knowledge is successfully transferred to the internal team.

What we are looking for

• Expert EPM Background: 7+ years of experience in EPM/CPM solution architecture, with a proven track record of leading complex OneStream implementations

• Technical Mastery: Deep proficiency in OneStream’s technical stack, including VB.Net, SQL, and MarketPlace solutions. You understand how to build for performance at an enterprise scale

• Financial & ESG Fluency: A strong grasp of financial consolidation, planning processes, and the emerging requirements of ESG reporting

• The "Architect Mindset": The ability to balance business agility with rigid technical governance. You are comfortable making high-stakes decisions and saying "no" to customizations that compromise system health

• Communication & Influence: Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate technical constraints and opportunities to non-technical Finance stakeholders and executives.
