Manager, Internal Audit

Your mission

Step into a pivotal role within our Internal Audit function, where your mission is to strengthen Hiab’s operations by driving continuous improvement and risk mitigation across the business. We are looking for an ambitious team player who combines a curious and big-picture understanding of the business with a detail-oriented focus, ready to independently lead complex, high-impact audit assignments.
 
We are actively seeking candidates located in Finland or the Netherlands.

Key responsibilities

• Independently plan and lead assignments based on our (adaptive) audit plan
• Reporting of key findings to the Senior Executives to enable active interactions and alignment
• Documentation of the audit working papers to serve as support for the conclusion/opinions expressed in the audit reports
• Preparation of clear and effective audit and other reports to the management and Audit and Risk Management Committee
• Driving the Audit action follow-up process in cooperation with actions owners
• Participating in continuous functional development
• Support in additional assignments, investigations, development work as requested.

What we are looking for

• At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
• Proficient understanding of processes, risks and controls across multiple disciplines (financial, operational, compliance, IT etc.)
• Strong commitment to teamwork, positive attitude and good cooperation skills
• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking whilst working at a business’ clock speed
• Professional Certification(s) such as CIA, CISA will be a benefit
• Basic understanding of SAP, G-suite tools and data analytics skills will be a benefit
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
