SAP Solution Architect, Sales & Order Management

Your mission

The SAP Solutions Architect, Sales & Order Management will act as a senior leader responsible for the architectural ownership, strategic development, and roadmap governance of all SAP-centric Sales & Order Management solutions within the Lead-to-Cash (L2C) value stream. This role translates complex Sales & Order Management business strategies into robust, scalable, and secure solutions, driving long-term value, adherence to SAP's Clean Core architecture, and ensuring seamless integration across the enterprise landscape. 

The primary location is Helsinki, but we are open to applications from Tampere and Raisio, Helsinki.

Key responsibilities

• Translate Sales & Order Management business strategy and high-level requirements into a clear, prioritized SAP Solution Roadmap and concrete architectural designs
• Support the technical design, development, and implementation of complex SAP Sales & Order Management solutions
• Lead all major design reviews, ensuring new solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with the SAP Clean Core strategy (utilizing SAP BTP for extensions)
• Own the full application lifecycle management for SAP Sales & Order Management solutions, from initial concept through depreciation
• Ensure seamless data flow between SAP Sales & Order Management solutions and adjacent modules such as MM (Materials Management), FI (Finance), and external systems
• Drive agile project delivery utilizing the SAP Activate methodology and act as a technical driver during Fit-to-Standard workshops to critically examine processes and capture gaps
•  Identify process bottlenecks and define automated solutions to reduce manual data maintenance and errors in sales and order management processes.

What we are looking for

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of deep experience in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) solution design and delivery, with a minimum of 2 years in a Solution Architecture role
• Proven expertise in Order Management Systems (OMS), Distributed Order Management (DOM), and the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process, with a solid understanding of how Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) output influences the order fulfillment process
• In-depth understanding of the Sales & Order Management business and capability to turn business strategy and requirements into end-to-end solutions
• Expertise in modern SAP extensibility models: SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), side-by-side and in-app extensions, and API/OData services
•  Proficient in defining the SAP Fiori user experience strategy and leveraging embedded analytics/CDS views for the Sales & Order Management domain
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset
• Excellent written and spoken English is essential, alongside an ability to thrive in a global, distributed team environment.
