Service Manager, CSC Finland

In the role of Service Manager, CSC Finland you will be responsible for developing and driving service sales and operations both direct and indirect through dealers within Finland. You will be accountable for ensuring safe and efficient operations and managing the Service Profit and Loss (P&L). A key focus is on the services customer experience, with the expectation of flexibility to serve customers when needed. Furthermore, the role is responsible for Services Net Working Capital (NWC) and Cash flow, as well as the capture rate and maintenance of the installed base. This role requires flexibility for short-notice travel based on business needs.
This position is open for Raisio and Helsinki, Finland.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Strategy:
- Secure the execution and contribute to the route to market development in line with Hiab’s and CSC strategy
- Plan and implement the service business strategy in the assigned market, including commercial and operational excellence
- Identify and provide input on potential inorganic growth areas and potential M&A targets to the division.
Sales:
- Drive and develop sales both direct and indirect through dealers within the assigned market. Sales refer to aftermarket sales, maintenance and repair contracts, installations, spare parts, digital services, e-commerce as well as alignment and close co-operation with equipment sales
- Responsible to create, maintain and develop the sales & business development funnel
- Develop and drive an inside sales team with a focus on e-sales lead through our webshop
- Establish pro-active services portfolio sales culture.
Operations:
- Accountable to improve the consolidated gross margin and operating margin
- Responsible to implement services business systems and processes
- Efficiently manage service workshops (internal or dealer network) in the assigned market to reach set financial, operational and HSE targets.
Training & People:
- Responsible to drive and develop training for dealers and own employees to secure high competence in selling, installing and maintaining our products
- Responsible for development programs of the services people
- Accountable to recruit, train, retain and dismiss services resources.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Suitable educational background on technical and commercial subjects, Master’s degree in Economics or Engineering preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in the service business, including sales, key account and operational service management experience. Understanding of load handling business is an advantage
- Proven ability to drive service business sales and profitability growth
- Strong business mindset with financial skills, knowledge and understanding of numbers
- Service management skills including competence in logistics and spare-parts
- Strong Service agreement and contract negotiation skills are a must
- Technical skills and product knowledge. System understanding (SAP) and the implementation of new field service systems/tools and processes in the past is beneficial
- Strong leadership capabilities and skills in how to develop the team and manage and allocate resources in an efficient way
- Innovative and customer-focused working approach. Seek to provide solutions by cooperating closely with customers, dealers, other functions
- Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build long-term relationships
- Lean Six Sigma certification, minimum Yellow Belt certification
- Fluent in Finnish and English. Swedish language would be an advantage.
