Your mission

 

As our Service Sales Development Manager for Importers, you will be the driving force behind our spare parts revenue growth in the importer channel. You won't just manage data; you will be a strategic partner, working alongside our importer teams to unlock new potential, design high-impact growth programs, and provide the tools that turn commercial strategy into reality. If you are passionate about building scalable sales methodologies, visiting partners on-site to understand their market reality, and coaching teams to success, this is your opportunity to shape the future of Hiab’s service business. 

 

The primary location is Helsinki, Finland, but we are open to applications from other main Hiab locations within Europe. Ability and willingness to travel within Europe for field visits.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Strategic Program Design: Translate commercial value propositions into actionable, market-specific growth programs that drive tangible revenue results

  • Hands-on Partner Acceleration: Act as the ‘boots-on-the-ground’ expert. You will identify high-growth potential importers, provide dedicated coaching, and support rollouts that accelerate their sales performance

  • Market Insight & Relationship Building: Conduct regular field visits to our partners across Europe. You will gain first-hand insights into market dynamics and installed base opportunities, feeding this intelligence back into our global product and pricing decisions

  • Methodology & Tool Development: Build the playbooks, analytics, and sales resources that empower our Account Managers to succeed—from sizing market opportunities to negotiating partner agreements

  • Collaborative Leadership: Serve as the primary growth partner to the Importer team. You will co-develop commercial strategies and lead joint planning sessions to track and exceed revenue targets.

 

What we are looking for

 

  • Academic degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Management or related field. Post-graduate qualification in commercial or sales discipline is a plus

  • 5–7+ years of experience in B2B commercial roles within OEM aftermarket, industrial distribution, or heavy equipment, with a specific focus on indirect/importer channels

  • Proven track record of designing programs that drive revenue growth through partners

  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and partner principals without direct authority, backed by a clear, persuasive, and adaptable communication style

  • Comfortable working with CRM systems (Salesforce) and using data to analyze country-level installed base and capture rates

  • Fluent English required; a second European language (especially Spanish, French, Italian or German) is a strong advantage given importer geography.
