Strategy Director

Purpose of the position

 

Hiab is looking for a strategic and analytical business leader to join our Services division as Strategy Director. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for developing, owning, and implementing the Hiab Services strategy, ensuring its alignment with Hiab’s overall company strategy. You will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth, both organically and inorganically, and in shaping the future of our global Services business.

This position can be located in Finland, or the Netherlands.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business and growth opportunities (e.g., partnerships, alliances, mergers, or acquisitions) that will contribute to the division's short and long-term business goals
  • Analyze markets and competitive landscapes regularly by utilizing external benchmark data
  • Facilitate discussions and manage negotiations with potential customers and business partners to pursue business opportunities and protect the organization's business interests
  • Run Division strategy process according to the company strategy cadence
  • Run the Division Enterprise Risk Management process, in line with the central process
  • Run (and participate in) strategic cross-divisional projects
  • Develop regular reports to support business development and reviews
  • Build a platform to drive data-driven decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and assure full visibility of programs, projects, tasks and assignments across the organization
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the success of strategic initiatives.

What you’ll need to succeed

 

Education:

 

 

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Tech, Eng, Project Management or Business Administration

 


Experience:

 

  • Min 10 years of Strategy experience
  • Leading and /or participating in company transformation programs
  • Experience of M&A
  • Experience with executive-level communication and presentations
  • Multi-project management/portfolio management experience.
  • Industry experience preferred
