Trainee, Accessories Product Management

Your mission

Are you ready to help shape the future of load handling? Hiab is looking for an energetic and analytical Summer Trainee to join our Application Tools and Accessories Solutions department. 

In this position you will get the opportunity to be involved in the product management of Hiab accessories and participate in the development of the accessories offering. You will be involved in diverse development tasks, market-, pricing-analysis as well as actively communicating with Hiab market areas.

This position is based in Helsinki, Finland. 

Key responsibilities

• Support and coordinate tasks in ongoing accessories product management activities

• Support with accessories’ marketing activities, eg. localisation of marketing materials

• Maintenance of accessories’ product data in Product Information Management (PIM) system

• Perform market and benchmark analysis of accessories and assist the team in following market trends and monitoring the competitive landscape

• Help gather customer and stakeholder feedback to new product development

• Prepare accessories cost and pricing analysis for new product development.

What we are looking for

• We are looking for a proactive individual who is nearing the end of their studies (3rd year+ or Master's stage) and is eager to apply theory to practice

• Preferably pursuing a degree in Engineering or Business Administration

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with complex data sets 

• A strong "can-do" attitude, a proactive approach to solving problems and a structured way of working 

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary, international team

• Experience/Knowledge of a Product Information Management (PIM) tool would be considered an advantage

• Relevant former experience is considered as an advantage, but is not a requirement in the position

• The team working language is English.
