Your mission

 

We are looking for a structured and analytical trainee to support the Lifecycle Services team at Hiab Services.

 

This hands-on role provides real-world experience in business process deployment, process development, value stream mapping, and customer lifecycle commercialisation within a global industrial environment.

 

This position is based in Helsinki, Finland.

 

Key responsibilities

 

We believe that development happens by doing. You’ll gain hands-on experience in project management, process improvement, lifecycle activation, and data-driven decision-making. Your focus will be on understanding and improving how our service contracts are commercialised and activated across markets by:

 

  • Supporting customer activation and contracts deployment in direct and indirect channels

  • Supporting value stream mapping (VSM) of current service and commercialisation processes in direct and indirect channel

  • Identifying inefficiencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities in lifecycle activation

  • Documenting processes and contributing to future-state process design

  • Gathering and structuring input from markets, Customer Support Centres (CSC), and stakeholders

  • Analysing customer and equipment data to support lifecycle activation and conversion opportunities

  • Maintaining and supporting the development of process documentation, templates, and playbooks

  • Supporting the implementation and follow-up of process improvements and commercial initiatives.

 

What we are looking for

 

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Analytics or a similar analytical field

  • Strong analytical and structured thinking

  • A curious mindset — you enjoy asking “why” and improving how things work

  • Interest in project management, process improvement, operations, or customer lifecycle management

  • Comfortable working with data

  • Proactive and able to work independently

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

 

Nice to have:

  • Project management experience

  • Basic understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methods

  • Experience with tools such as Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Jira, or Confluence

  • Interest in CRM, automation, or customer journey development.
