Your mission
Are you ready to kickstart your career in global finance? The purpose of this trainee role is to directly support our Group Business Control function, offering you hands-on experience in data validation and cutting-edge report development. Working at the intersection of finance and technology, you will collaborate closely with our Finance teams to transform raw operational data into strategic business insights, building a strong foundation for your professional growth.
The primary location is Helsinki, Finland, but we are open to applications from other Hiab European sites.
Key responsibilities
- Enabling reliable financial data and reports
- To act as a link between business intelligence and group business control teams supporting in different data development and validation tasks
- Support in BI report preparation, maintenance, validation and reconciliations and automate these processes
- Ensure reporting templates are standardized and proper dimensions are used
- Support group business control and wider finance organisation in different ad-hoc analysis tasks.
What we are looking for
- Recent graduate (or at final stage of studies) in Master’s level degree in Business, Economics or other relevant field of study
- Previous working experience from a global company is an advantage
- Knowledge of BI tools, basic understanding of finance / business control processes
- A clear aspiration for continuous skill development and learning
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken).
