Your mission
Would you like to work and develop your skills at an international company that truly values its people? As a Legal Trainee you will support the Hiab Legal and Compliance team.
The traineeship lasts for 12 months and is located in Helsinki. We expect the trainee to start working in September 2026. This position is part-time (2–3 days a week) from September until May, and full-time for the summer months of June-August.
Key responsibilities
Your work will cover several fields of law ranging from international contract law and company law to IP and privacy law. Your responsibilities will include various tasks such as assisting Legal Counsels in contract drafting, taking care of trademark issues, researching legal information, and archiving legal material.
What we are looking for
We expect you to be a third or fourth year law student and have experience in working both independently and in a highly collaborative environment. We value a can-do attitude and a proactive approach to both complex issues as to very routine work. If you have experience in a similar position or in a law firm, that would be seen as an asset. As we work mainly in English, strong communication skills and fluency in both written and spoken English are required in this position.
