Treasury Analyst

Your mission

As a Treasury Analyst, you will be a cornerstone of our centralized treasury function, ensuring efficient management of financial risks, external and internal funding, cash management, and management of global insurance programs. In this role, you will manage financial risks by executing financial transactions with relationship banks, participate in internal and external funding arrangements, invest excess cash, maintain robust banking relationships and develop treasury processes. Beyond day-to-day operations, you will actively contribute to internal restructurings, M&A initiatives, and the implementation of our new Treasury Management System. Collaborating with external banks, entity controllers, and group reporting, you will play a vital role in evolving our treasury processes and safeguarding Hiab's financial position.

This position is based in Helsinki, Finland.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive financial risk management, including active position monitoring and precise transaction execution.

• Manage global bank account structure and daily liquidity operations to ensure the seamless execution of treasury activities and operational efficiency.

• Support in internal and external funding arrangements

• Provide specialized support for M&A activities and internal financial restructurings.

• Facilitate the administration and strategic renewal of global insurance programs.

• Lead bank "Know Your Customer" (KYC) coordination and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Drive treasury development initiatives and contribute expertise to the Treasury Management System implementation.

• Cultivate and enhance strategic banking relationships to support organizational objectives.

What we are looking for

• Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

• At least 1-3 years of experience in a finance or treasury role

• Experience from trading financial derivatives

• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with numerical data

• Strong communication and collaborative team working skills

• Familiarity with systems such as treasury management systems, Bloomberg/LSEG Workspace, FXall/360T

• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
