Software Engineer

Purpose of the position

We are looking for a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in both backend and frontend technologies, with a particular focus on C#/.NET for backend development and Angular, HTML, and CSS for building responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy fullstack web applications using C# (.NET Core/.NET Framework) and Angular
• Build and maintain reusable, testable, and efficient code on both backend and frontend
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability
• Write technical documentation, unit tests, and participate in code reviews
• Maintain and enhance legacy applications while also contributing to greenfield development projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and advocate for their integration where appropriate.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer or similar role
• Strong expertise in C#, including experience with ASP.NET Core / Web API / Entity Framework
• Proficiency in Angular (v10+) with solid knowledge of TypeScript, RxJS, and Angular CLI
• Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend best practices (responsive design, accessibility, etc.)
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration
• Strong grasp of software architecture principles, MVC/MVVM patterns, and microservices (optional but valuable)
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks like Jasmine/Karma and backend testing with xUnit/NUnit
• Experience with Docker and containerized application deployment
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is an advantage.
