Product Support Engineer

Purpose of the position

We are looking for a Product Support Engineer to join the HIAB Tail Lift division, within the Zepro brand. As a key part of our global business the Product Support team provides frontline support to our customers and internal stakeholders, across a global footprint.  

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Supporting customers with technical assistance.This involves everything from making product recommendations and creating installation drawings to assisting customers with troubleshooting and registering claims
• Play a role in creating and updating training and product support documents and tools, such as installation instructions and troubleshooting guides, with the help from the wider organisation
• Support and on occasion lead product training sessions with customers, dealers and importers
• Assisting new product development by providing technical market insights to the Product Management and R&D departments
• Travelling within the Nordic region and Europe is part of the job. Travelling outside of Europe might occur on occasion if the business requires it
• Preferred location for this position is close to Malmo, Stockholm or Katrineholm.

• Experienced in mechanical design with good knowledge in the fields of steel structures, hydraulic systems, DC electrical systems and controls 
• Previous experience in product support, troubleshooting and maintenance is an advantage, but not essential
• Experience in 2D CAD, preferably AutoCAD, is an advantage 
• Interest or experience in working with vehicles in general and commercial vehicles in particular is a merit as is experience with load handling equipment
• B driving license is a requirement due to the travelling the job requires
• Resilient and able to multitask
• Fluent in English and Swedish both in speaking and writing
• Additional Languages are a plus.
