Hiab, a leading provider of smart and sustainable on-road load handling solutions, is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Director to elevate our brand, optimize lead generation, and empower our global sales network.

Key responsibilities

 

As Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Hiab's global marketing strategy and execution. You will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing programs that drive brand awareness, generate high-quality leads, and support our global sales teams and extensive partner network. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a strategic mindset, exceptional people skills, a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on with execution, and a deep understanding of B2B marketing in a complex, multi-channel environment.

 


Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy aligned with Hiab's business objectives, focusing on B2B customer journeys, indirect channel enablement, and a valueselling approach that emphasizes the unique benefits and long-term value of Hiab's solutions. 
  • Marketing Excellence: Design and implement marketing programs specifically tailored to support and empower our global network of distributors, dealers, and partners, ensuring they have the tools and resources to effectively market Hiab products and solutions.
  • Lead Generation & Nurturing: Drive the development and continuous improvement of lead generation processes, leveraging digital marketing, content marketing, and other innovative tactics to increase qualified leads and improve conversion rates.
  • Market Insights & Voice of the Customer: Spend significant time in the field, engaging directly with sales teams, partners, and end-users to gain deep insights into customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes. Translate these insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence: Work effectively within a matrix organization, collaborating closely with product management, sales, R&D, and regional teams to ensure marketing initiatives are integrated and supported across the business. Influence stakeholders and get things done through strong relationships and compelling arguments, even without direct reporting lines.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • MarTech & AI Innovation: Partner strategically with the Digital Marketing Director to champion the adoption of emerging technologies, with a specific focus on generative AI and machine learning to evolve our marketing approach. Leverage a passion for the shifting tech landscape to integrate automation, CRM, and AI-driven insights—ensuring we deliver cutting-edge, personalized customer experiences while maintaining peak operational efficiency.
  • Content Strategy & Creation: Drive focus on the development of high-impact marketing content, including case studies, white papers, videos, presentations, and website copy, tailored to different stages of the buyer's journey and channel needs.
  • Performance Measurement & Optimization: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze marketing campaign effectiveness, using data to inform future strategies and optimize ROI.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated strategically to maximize impact.

What we are looking for

 

  • Master degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 7+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in marketing through indirect channels (e.g., distributors, dealers, partners).
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful lead generation and brand-building strategies in a B2B context.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Experience working effectively in a global, matrixed organizational structure.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, measure campaign performance, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., marketing automation, CRM, analytics).
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to engage with frontline teams and partners.
  • Experience in the industrial equipment, manufacturing, or similar sectors is highly desirable.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
