Quality Engineer

Purpose of the position

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team of experts to develop quality standards for R&D, sourcing, operation and assembly and design and implement the measures, tests, sampling methods, and other procedures that ensure that these standards are met.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Perform quality analysis and inspections, for example data analysis, benchmark testing, localization, and destructive/non-destructive analysis
• Evaluate inputs to the core processes and liaise with external vendors to ensure that their products meet the organization's quality standards
• Evaluate the organization's processes, systems, and technology and recommend changes that will improve the quality of the organization's finished products
• Check that established testing procedures are being followed and identify and address recurring problems either with the quality of the product or the reliability of testing procedures
• Maintain and analyze quality records to prepare quality reports
• Educate and train quality inspectors and other staff to ensure that they understand and comply with established quality procedures and standards.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Practitioner/Leading, has advanced skills and knowledge in this area, can solve complex problems and is able to support others and develop processes and ways of working
• Relevant working experience
• Carry out day-to-day HSE development activities. Work independently to complete given tasks and assignments
• Analyze and improve current ways of working
• Adapt and exchange information and knowledge and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
