Your mission
Responsible for developing and managing the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process to drive alignment between sales forecasts, inventory management, order management, procurement, and production scheduling. Leads the procurement team responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing critical components and equipment, including Hiab-supplied trucks, to support demand. Collaborate with Hiab’s global business operations development team and peers across countries to align strategies, share best practices, and implement standardized processes across the company’s global installation network. Occasional international travel may be required to vendor sites or other company facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and lead the monthly SIOP cycle, ensuring alignment across sales, operations, and supply chain teams
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather accurate demand forecasts and translate them into actionable production and procurement plans
- Work with sales and dealer networks to understand customer demand fluctuations, including custom truck upfit requirements
- Analyze trends, seasonality, and business drivers to refine demand plans continuously
- Oversee inventory controls and accurate MRP data in SAP to support operational efficiency
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as on-time delivery (OTD), inventory turns, forecast accuracy, and procurement effectiveness
- Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or similar field
- 5+ years Purchasing/Sourcing/Shipping & Receiving
- Experience in WMS and TMS systems
- SAP/ERP proficiency
- Strong understanding of procurement, supply chain and logistics processes
- Excellent Leadership skills
