Your mission
Responsible for mastering operational purchasing and safeguarding the global supply chain. You will act as the "voice of the supplier" within the organization, resolving challenges regarding lead times, quality, and billing while ensuring every part meets our rigorous Service Level standards.
Key responsibilities
- Spare parts purchasing according to planning parameters
- Proactively identify delivery risks and implement corrective actions to prevent supply chain disruptions and manage backorders
- Manage an international supplier base, in collaboration with sourcing, to ensure supplier performance according to requirements
- Independently lead supplier meetings to strengthen cooperation and achieve strategic availability goals for global customers
- Review supplier invoices, resolve discrepancies, and manage purchasing master data to ensure total system accuracy
- Act as the daily bridge between external suppliers and internal departments, including Sourcing, Planning, Customer Service, and Accounting & Finance
What we are looking for
- Academic education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or corresponding knowledge acquired through work experience
- Proficiency in Google Workspace/Microsoft Office
- Ability to work operationally with large amounts of data and take actions across multiple platforms such as SAP & JIRA
- Improvement-oriented mindset with an interest in using technology and automation to simplify complex tasks
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-urgency environment where tasks change quickly and supply chain can be unpredictable
- High attention to detail with a structured approach to complex material management and large amounts of data
