R&D Engineer

Your mission

We are looking for an R&D Engineer to join our Demountables and Defence division's R&D team. As a R&D Engineer you will design mechanisms and steel structures for our products, whose reliability is very important to us and our customers. You will participate in and execute engineering design, development, project delivery and completion. You will work in close cooperation with other departments and provide them with technical support.
 
This position is located in Raisio, Finland and will report directly to the R&D Manager on our site.

Key responsibilities

• High-tech product design and development in the field of mechanical engineering
• Participate in the work of a cross-functional, international team in creating a product from concept to implementation in serial production
• Take care of the competitiveness of existing products by making changes to them and designing new features
• Prepare technical documentation
• Support organisation and stakeholders by providing technical support.

What we are looking for

• B.Sc or M.Sc in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics or related
• Around 5+ years of experience in a similar position
• Good technical knowledge in the areas of mechanics and strength of welded steel construction
• Analytical abilities combined with problem-solving mindset
• Good 3D-CAD skills required
• Experience on mobile work machinery and/or heavy automotive will be considered as an advantage
• Fluency in Finnish is a must
• Good English both written and spoken.
