Your mission

We are looking for a People Services Specialist to join our international, diverse, and people-first organization. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality HR services and want to grow within a supportive, innovative environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring a seamless and compliant employee experience, with a core focus on Payroll and Time & Attendance (T&A) processes. Joining a global People Services team covering North America, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC, you will collaborate across borders, partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external providers to keep our operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, with a core focus on Payroll, Time & Attendance (T&A), and HR Data Management.

  • Maintain absolute data integrity across all HRIS and payroll platforms, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.

  • Serve as the primary liaison for the external payroll agency and partners, ensuring all data submissions are timely, accurate, and fully compliant.

  • Provide high-quality support to employees, managers, and HR Business Partners by resolving inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and time tracking.

  • Own and continuously update HR process documentation to keep standard operating procedures current.

  • Proactively identify and implement process optimizations to improve efficiency and strengthen compliance.

  • Deliver HR services in strict alignment with established SLAs, KPIs, internal controls, and global organizational standards.

  • Guide the business on the correct interpretation and application of local HR policies and procedures.

What we are looking for

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on HR experience, with a proven focus on Payroll and Time & Attendance administration.

  • Systems & Software: Demonstrated experience navigating HRIS platforms, utilizing payroll software, and coordinating with external payroll vendors.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) or advanced MS Excel skills is highly preferred.

  • Analytical Capabilities: Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

  • Communication: Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

  • Problem-Solving: Comfortable managing employee queries of varying complexity with patience and clarity.

  • Mindset: Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn and grow within a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

What we offer

You’ll join a global People Services team that lives by our "Employees First" culture. At Hiab, we believe in a culture of trust, openness, and continuous improvement - where your ideas matter, and your growth is our shared success. You’ll have the autonomy to drive process improvements, lead complex operation and make a strategic impact that goes far beyond the numbers.

Our benefits include

Flexible Work: Hybrid model with work-from-anywhere freedom in Bulgaria and occasional visits to our Sofia office, 5 minutes from the metro.
Career Growth: Advance in an international environment with tailored Individual Development Plans, mentorship programs, and professional training courses.
Work-Life Balance: Enjoy 25 days of paid annual vacation to rest, recharge, and spend time away from work.
Health & Wellness: Comprehensive extended health insurance and an optional Multisport card to support your active lifestyle.
