Looking to kickstart your career in global finance? 🏆 Join HIAB as a Trainee (Intern), Finance in our Record to Report (RTR) team and learn how modern accounting really works.

We offer a hybrid work model and flexible working hours designed to easily fit your university schedule, letting you gain valuable experience without sacrificing your studies.

Working closely with senior specialists and your personal mentor, you’ll support our month-end operations, master systems like SAP, and turn your academic knowledge into practical expertise in a supportive, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Daily Support: Assist the team with basic accounting entries, document organization, and system updates.
• Month-End Assistance: Help prepare simple schedules and check data to support the team during the month-end close.
• Data & Verification: Learn how to check numbers for accuracy and assist in routine account reconciliations.
• Documentation & Control: Assist in cross-checking financial data, bank statements, and supporting documentation. 
• Smart Queries: Help respond to routine internal finance queries while maintaining smooth communication across teams.
• Learning & Growing: Actively participate in team workshops to continually sharpen your accounting skills.

What we are looking for

• Education: Current university student (or fresh graduate) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Languages: Very good English skills (written and spoken) to communicate smoothly with global teams.

• Tech Skills: Good computer literacy (MS Office / Google Workspace, especially MS Excel) and an interest in learning complex ERP systems.

• Key Traits: Detail-oriented mindset, enjoyment of working with numbers/processes, and a positive, "can-do" attitude.

• No prior professional experience in finance is required – your motivation is what matters most!
