R&D Engineer

Your mission

In this role as an R&D Engineer you will be part of  a global organisation and have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects. This position is based in Stargard, Poland.

Key responsibilities

• Design and development of steel structures of new products (Loader Cranes)
• Calculation of steel structure
• Work as a team member with other engineers
• Creation of  technical solutions to achieve targets set by Product Management
• Creation of e-BOM
• Development of tests methodology and supervision of tests of complete products and components
• Work with suppliers to achieve product performance and quality targets
• Technical support for production, sourcing & suppliers, after sales related to product design requirements and specifications
• Actively cooperate with Production and Service departments to achieve best in class Design-To-Assembly and Design-To-Service products
• Prepares engineering adjustments for approved designs according to customer requirements and project sales
• New features introduction.

What we are looking for

• Previous experience (at least 5 years) in a given area: mechanical /steel structure design
• University degree in mechanical design/ hydraulics or automatics will be considered a plus
• Good English (written and spoken)
• Preferably fluent in Polish
• Since we are working in an international environment with customers and suppliers abroad, a good knowledge of English and Polish is required
• Skills in FEM calculation is a benefit
• Ability to travel
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and electrics/electronics
• Very good knowledge of CAD systems
• FMEA skills is a benefit.
