Purpose of the position
In this position you have a responsibility to support IM solution functionality and business operational continuity being located primarily at the Hiab Streetsboro site in OH, USA. You should also support other team members within your team to help them achieve the business operational continuity on sites they have responsibility for.
You also have a responsibility to develop local solutions according to local business needs together with the Hiab IM team and commonly agreed models and frameworks. In this position, you are also responsible for supporting Hiab’s global business applications and being an active member of various development projects on the Hiab IM application landscape.
Additional responsibilities are being an active part of the development tasks of common Hiab IM solutions and applications in the production and supply chain solutions domain together with business solution owners and architects in all other domain areas, secure service functionality across business lines within Hiab and with other business areas across Cargotec. In this position, you also manage and secure platform availability and compliance together with service support (key user) network management within Hiab.
You are also expected to strive for solution development in accordance with Hiab IM application architecture and to be an active member of the Hiab IM team with a high interest in developing solution capabilities to make Hiab an undisputed leader in our industry, the number one partner, and customer-focused solution provider in on-road load handling.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Acting as solution & platform expert and being responsible for the platform functionality in your production & supply chain domain specifically at Hiab factory in Streetsboro
- Supporting, planning, and execution of Hiab’s common solutions development projects
- Supporting development projects when it comes to IM functionality development, data flows and integrations of solutions
- Being a Service owner towards business, responsible for solution availability and functionality of the solutions in Streetsboro
- Responsible for supplier & vendor collaboration from Hiab’s side. Managing the co-operation together with corporate IM stakeholders
- Participating agreement negotiations and definition of SLAs and OLAs related to a services
- Responsible of participating team meetings and service meetings based on agreed governance model
- Maintaining the compliance of the license usage according to the agreements and providing advance alerts for actions which might cause license compliance issues
- Being a member of the change, release, asset and problem management teams and coordinating successful change management process to minimize business interruptions
- Be part of Hiab IM and together with colleagues you have important role of securing success on our strategic development projects and further develop our End to End solution offering
Factory Local Accountabilities
- ERP LN solution expertise
- Report writing and maintaining the Streetsboro Cyberquery Dashboard
- Supporting users and development efforts with the Ohio Way Software (integrates from/to LN)
- Supporting CPQ application (Concept)
- Supporting SAP interfaces within LN
Financial Management
- Managing cost of solution covering (operational and development costs) and securing that set targets and budgets are kept
- Striving continuously cost control to meet the market pricing
- Responsibility for financial planning of the local IM solutions development
What you’ll need to succeed
Education:
- Master’s or Bachelor's degree in IT, business, or similar area preferred
Working experience:
- 5+ years of experience of working in the IT business area
- 5+ years of experience of ERP solutions and preferably manufacturing & Supply chain area
- Experience of solution development and/or IT service management related work
- Experience of industrial production environments and related business processes
Skills and competencies:
- Strong problem solving & analytical skills
- Able to work independently and proactively
- Technical competence in one of the following areas is seen as mandatory: ERP LN and production processes in general, SalesForce / other CRM’s and field services tools, SAP, BI, or RPA
- People and supplier management skills and experience
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Project, change and transition management experience
- Stakeholder management experience
- International mind-set
- Full professional proficiency of written and oral English required
