Senior Electronic Engineer HW

Your mission

With several new products in the pipeline and strong growth, we are expanding our development team and looking for an experienced Electronic Hardware Designer that can take on team lead responsibility.

This position is based in Vallentuna and requires occasional travelling. 

Key responsibilities

• In the team we work primarily with radio remote controllers, sensors of different types and other auxiliary electronic devices that could be found on on-road load handling equipment. You will work across the full process, from schematic design to PCB layout, and prepare materials for ordering and production
• Your role will include both new development and product maintenance, as well as PCB designs for production fixtures and tools.
  It is important that you have a strong interest in technology, are self-driven, and enjoy solving problems
• You will collaborate closely with software and mechanical engineers, and work in proximity to our in-house production, which includes surface-mount technology (SMT). This allows for fast prototype development. Supporting production during
  challenges like End of Life (EOLs) and Last-Time Buys (LTBs) will also be part of your responsibilities
• You will mentor and guide a small group of hardware engineers, making sure that the deliveries from the team are on time and with the right quality level. In parallel to your own deliveries you will assign tasks, provide technical support, and promote continuous improvements.
• You will work cross-functionally within the organization and have external contacts as well.

What we are looking for

• A university degree or equivalent work experience within electronic hardware and has been working with electronics hardware design for 10 years
• We use Altium for all our designs, and proficiency in Altium is considered a merit
• Since several of our products incorporate functional safety, experience from ISO 13849 or adjacent standards is also considered a merit
• Fluency in English - both written and spoken.
