Your mission
Location: Yokohama, Japan
Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract (1 Year)
As a Spare Parts Assistant, you will:
serve as a vital link in our global supply chain by ensuring seamless communication between overseas suppliers and regional dealers. You will drive operational excellence by managing precise data within SAP, overseeing warehouse accuracy and providing world-class support to our dealer network to minimize equipment downtime.
Key responsibilities
- Customer Support: Respond to dealer inquiries regarding spare parts pricing, lead times, and technical specifications with accuracy and speed.
- International Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for negotiations and inquiries with overseas spare parts personnel to ensure a steady supply chain.
- Data Management: Maintain system integrity by entering and updating all necessary logistics and parts information within SAP.
- Logistics Administration: Prepare and verify essential shipping documents to ensure smooth domestic and international transport.
- Inventory Oversight: Perform physical stock checks and quality inspections at the warehouse to ensure alignment between digital records and physical inventory.
What we are looking for
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent (higher education is a plus).
- Experience: Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role is required. Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or automotive setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Digital Literacy: Proficiency in computer operations, including the ability to navigate databases and office software.
- Communication: Strong professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle customer inquiries with a service-oriented mindset.
- Organization: Basic clerical skills with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- English: Communicative English is preferred, specifically the ability to correspond clearly via email with overseas partners and suppliers.
- Personal Attributes: A reliable team player with a "can-do" attitude.
