Dein Profil

Your mission

We’re looking for skilled Field Service Engineers to join our team, working on Hiab and third-party equipment at customer sites across the UK. Key responsibilities

What we are looking for

Experience as a Field Service Engineer, ideally within lifting equipment, plant, hydraulics, electrical, HGV or similar

The HSE Manager is the guardian of our most valuable asset: our people. Key responsibilities

Analyse the working stations in view of minimising the health and safety impact on employees, contributes, together with HR and operations, in managing the cases of employees not able to perform in a position for physical limitations.
Provides solutions to meet both the mandatory legal requirements and the continuous improvement of the operations (efficiency and effectiveness).
Analyse the near misses and the incidents to generate solutions able to prevent incidents.
In charge of HSE kpis and related reporting.
Deploy all the processes and procedures required global corporate and local laws/local certifications requirements.
Organises training for the employees to meet legal /corporate requirements.
Develop a Safety First Culture which includes specific communications and initiatives to embed safety in the daily culture and behaviours.
Contributes to the development and deployment of the strategy to reach sustainability target.
Liaising closely with the appropriate legal and insurance bodies and keeping senior management updated in a timely manner.
Lead on-site EH&S improvement, awareness and engagement programmes.

Purpose of the position

To perform service, (preventive maintenance, safety checks, corrective actions, upgrades and refurbishment) on equipment, at external or Hiab locations in line with Manager’s instructions. Responsible for contributing to productive customer relationships as well as following Best Practice in all administrative and technical activities.

The Hiab facility is located in Des Moines, IA, however all field service work will be conducted in the Omaha, NE and surrounding areas.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Technical and Product Knowledge

Staying up to date with technical developments as shown in internal service bulletins and following technical courses when instructed by District Service Manager applicable to equipment
Staying up to date with technical specifications of relevant equipment

Managing the Customer

Respond to Customer in a way instructed by the District Service Manager to maximize customer satisfaction
Follow Hiab Customer Satisfaction Guidelines

Risk Management

Protect self and others
Follow applicable safety rules, agreed working practices and environmental requirements
Alert District Service Manager if equipment safety is jeopardized due to any reason
Operate assigned service vehicle in compliance with Hiab driving policy and relevant state/federal regulations
Responsible for keeping assigned service vehicle maintained to manufacturer standards with support from fleet management company
Respect and protect Hiab and third party's property (tools, vehicles, facilities, equipment) and business activities

Service Process

Inspect, troubleshoot, report, plan and then conduct service or repair as instructed by District Service Manager
Submit regular reports in the format specified by District Service Manager
Keep adequate records and maintain documentation in line with agreed standards

Commercial Awareness and Cost Effectiveness

Plan and manage time and resources for maximum benefit of Hiab and the customer
Make judgements about the most cost effective and efficient approach to providing service
Maintain documentation to ensure accurate invoicing to the customer
Manage and protect the security and traceability of spare parts

Your mission

Your mission

Your mission

The Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for the seamless execution of the North American payroll operations, acting as the subject matter expert for tax withholdings, benefit deductions, and regulatory compliance, maintaining the integrity of our compensation systems.

Key responsibilities

Operators licenses for all equipment used in line with local requirements

Purpose of the position

The Hiab facility is located in Douglasville, GA, however all field service work will be conducted in the Savannah, GA and surrounding areas.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Technical and Product Knowledge

Staying up to date with technical developments as shown in internal service bulletins and following technical courses when instructed by District Service Manager applicable to equipment
Staying up to date with technical specifications of relevant equipment

Managing the Customer

Your mission

Service Planner is responsible for optimising the service scheduling and managing work orders by balancing customer requirements, technician availability, and operational constraints. Delivers a consistently high level of proactive customer service and ensures efficient workforce utilisation through effective planning, while adapting quickly to unexpected issues. Key responsibilities

Communicate proactively and professionally with customers to understand their needs, identify potential issues, and ensure timely resolution
Collaborate closely with internal colleagues, Hiab’s service center/field service teams, and external service partners to enable streamlined planning and delivery in line with agreed service lead times and quality standards
Schedule and plan service activities to ensure efficient and timely service delivery, with a strong understanding of different service tasks and their impact on time requirements, competencies, and preparation needs
Create, assign, monitor, and close work orders, ensuring all relevant and accurate information is recorded in the system
Manage unexpected issues and respond to emergencies by effectively prioritising, reallocating, and adjusting tasks or resources as required
Support service preparation through effective spare parts planning and coordination of required orders
Prepare, issue, and actively follow up quotes, estimates, and invoices for chargeable service work
Ensure high quality and timely customer reporting of completed service activities, in collaboration with service technicians

Experience:
